My dream is for everybody around the world to be able to say I have food at home. At least once every month my mom and I volunteer at a homeless shelter and serve food. My mom is a huge help in making sure that I can help as many people as I see on the streets who are hungry. Every summer my whole family gets a Ziplock bag and put in a sandwich, snacks and a bag of chips. Once when I was volunteering at a homeless shelter, I saw a little boy limping on both of his legs. At the homeless shelter that day they were serving cupcakes and he was over the world excited! That moment I knew I had to do something, whether it was continuing volunteering or something as simple as giving a water bottle. My hope is that kids like me over the world will begin to volunteer with their families and make a difference.
