Desde pequenina que vejo séries na televisão com super-heróis. E desde sempre achei um máximo o facto de eles terem poderes – como voar ou super força – e ajudarem as pessoas. Então, quase todas as minhas brincadeiras eram com poderes e sobre salvar o mundo. Mas a verdade é que eles tinham privilégios, tinham estes poderes. Mais tarde, como é óbvio, percebi que não existe tal coisa como ‘poderes’ ou super-heróis.

Agora que cresci um pouco percebo que afinal ha muitos heróis com super poderes, mas não com poderes como voar ou ser invisível… São poderes no coração, poderes que qualquer um pode ter e partilhar com o mundo através de um ato de boa vontade, como por exemplo voar com ideias e disparar com ajudas. Isto é o que é um herói para mim!

Since I was a little kid that I’ve seen movies and series with superheroes in them. And I always found that amazing, specially the fact that they had superpowers – like flying or super-strength – and that they helped people. At that time, almost all my plays were about having powers and saving the world. But, truth to be told, all of them had privileges and superpowers. Later, I started to realise that there was no such thing as ‘superpowers’ or ‘superheroes’.

Now that I’m older, I realise that there are actually many superheroes with superpowers – just not the conventional powers like flying or invisibility. The powers are in their hearts, powers that every single person can have and share with the world towards good actions, for example flying with their thoughts or spreading help all around! This is what a superheroes is to me.
